Fra Hubert Desgagnés, Quèbec City, Canada,  former Canadian coast guard officer og part time nautical historian har vi fått tilsendt:

I found the history of the D/S PROCYON ex. D/S ELIN HOPE  on your site..

I may add few info.In december 1963, while she was coming from Chicago bound for overseas, the Procyon was involved in a major collision with the canadian coaster FORT ALBANY, near Sorel , on the St Lawrence river.  It was near 08h00 Deecember 8th, and both vessels were eastbnd in heavy fog.  The FORT ALBANY decided to anchor due to the poor visibility but in doing so, the norwegian freighter catch up and hit the coaster on her port side, in the accomodation/engine room area. The vessel, being fully loaded,  sank rapidly. There were four lost of live and six were rescued by the Procyon crew.
