    Report from L/Cpl Davies S.T.S 51 27.6.41:
"A very able and determined man, thoroughly capable in all branches of work which he has been instructed in. He recently received a letter from his fiancee in Norway in which she said that though she and his family longed to see him they did not want him back before Norway was free again. This is what he lives for. His two brothers are in England, one in the Merchant Navy, one in a minesweeper. I consider him suitable for any type of job, particularly a fighting one. Has a first-knowledge of demolition work."
