  Historikk 1. verdenskrig:
  Sjømannen vitnet ved sjøforklaring holdt på Det norske Generalkonsulat i Genoa den 27. februar 1917, etter at DS DORAVORE ble senket av en tysk ubåt den 20. februar 1917. Skipet var på reise Genova til Napoli med sinkmalm og stykkgods.
